Finance Specialist

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Reports to: Finance Manager - NL

Role Overview
We are looking for a Finance Specialist to join our operations in the Netherlands. This role will be responsible for managing both trade finance and accounting processes, ensuring smooth financial data flow, and supporting daily cash flow monitoring and payment execution. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of accounting expertise and FP&A insight, with the ability to operate in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash flow and prepare cash projections
• Prepare and review payment lists.
• Manage trade finance transactions (letters of credit, guarantees, financing documentation).
• Support accounting processes in line with Dutch GAAP/IFRS and liaise with external accountants when necessary.
• Collect, reconcile, and report daily and monthly financial data for group consolidation.
• Contribute to the preparation of management reports, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Support internal control improvements and process optimization across finance functions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in trade finance, treasury, or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred) and familiarity with FP&A processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Fluency in English and Turkish; Dutch language is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, while maintaining close coordination with the Group Finance and HQ teams.
